My name is Brian Gnizak, I own and operate Shear Relief where I do my own scheduling with the help of my wonderful wife Whitney.  I began my career working for John Gunther in 2006, who is part of Shearing Alpaca.com, learning the shearing pattern and working with the animals. In 2008 I began shearing on my own under the guidance of John Gunther running and operating a two man crew. Then in 2009 I decided to start my own business and work for myself. I enjoy shearing alpacas because it gives me a chance to challenge myself and the opportunity to travel and do a job that I enjoy. As well as mentor and give my subcontractors the opportunity to see this beautiful country and the people that I have had the chance to meet along the way. It also gives them the chance to learn discipline and how to work hard, which is a good asset to have in order to better their futures. Then in December of 2009 I met my beautiful wife, Whitney, and we have been happily married since October of 2010. We now have four beautiful children Kaylene (8) Caleb (7) Theodore (5) and Zane born October of 2019 is already 3, they all keep us very busy. We also own a house with some acreage where we can work on running our own homestead, raising and growing our own food and being as self sufficient as possible. I have also started a YouTube channel called Full Circle Homestead. I want to show people how to be more self sufficient and show how we raise a lot of our own food.  I am privileged to be able to provide for my beautiful family while doing something I enjoy.
